My fiance and I are recently engaged and in the process of planning a wedding in Springfield, IL. I was wondering if anyone had any experiences- good or bad- with wedding-related businesses in Springfield that could offer advice. Things like florists, photographers, limo services, reception halls, caterers, or anything else that I can't think of would be appreciated. Also, if you did any sort of pricing that you would be willing to share, it would be helpful as well.

I recently had a wonderful experience with a banquet that I hosted at the Crowne Plaza. The prices are very reasonable and they have an excellent banquet manager that can refer you to florists, photographers, limos services, etc. Good luck!
One word of advice, try to schuedule your wedding around a time where there won't be any conventions in town. Call the hotel and ask...they'll tell you.
