How did you pay your final balance?

So we have payments into all of our vendors (florist, photographer, etc.)





We get paid on the day of our wedding so we were planning on bringing checks with the final balances for each vendor. Do you think they will accept that? Should it be cash? I can call them individually, just wondering how others have done it.

Most of them get paid the week before all mine did the only thing i payed for on that day was the bar tab.. lol
Reply:We paid each individually, by cheque, the week following the wedding. For photos, when they came in.
Reply:We paid for everything in advance with a credit card.
Reply:They usually do accept checks, especially if you made a payment with them before. What we did to make sure the checks didn't bounce was I asked my brother to write the final checks then I paid him the following week. Maybe you could do the same with a family member. Another option might be to ask the vendors if they take post dated checks. You never know. It's worth asking.
