Should i get a Florist or do it myself?

Each girl is getting a single flower with ribben in my wedding should i use my florist and have her do this when she's making my boquet or just buy some roses at wal-mart and do this part myself?

Should i get a Florist or do it myself?
You should not do this yourself if possible. There is nothing wrong with you doing the flowers yourself but you will be so busy (and preoccupied) with all of your other wedding plans and events. Who is doing your wedding favors? Who is doing your place cards? Who is doing your pew bows?

If you can get one of these people to take on this extra project, thank them! If not, ask a friend, sister, aunt, family friend, or whoever to help you with this special project.

A note - you may want to ask your florist to get these flowers to match the wedding flowers. If reasonable, it may be worthwhile to have them do these flowers for you. And of course, if your florist does them, everything should match (flowers and ribbons).

Let people help you and DO for you. So many people want to help to make things very special but don't know how do it. I am very certain that someone would be very proud to be asked to do this special thing for you.

Blessings to you and your fiance for a lifetime of happiness
Reply:Why not save a little stress? Buy some roses at Wal-Mart, and have each of your bridesmaids put together their own single flower arrangement? It'll be easier than tying those ribbons around those flowers (especially if you have multiple bridesmaids) all by yourself. Plus, it can be a last minute fun bonding experience with you and your bridesmaids. Plus, you know a florist will just charge you extra for that... and really, my kid sister could do that, its so easy!

However, a few tips for making sure your flowers last:

Cut the stems at an angle

Let them soak in room temperature cold water to soak up water

Place them in the fridge if it will be hot to keep them cool

Thats about it! It isn't that hard at all. Good luck!
Reply:For single flowers the cost will not be too prohibitive whether you do it or the florist.

It would not be hard to do, but it is one extra hassle. Is a few dollars going to make that mich difference in the end? Get the florist to do it, bargain and make sure you get a good deal.
Reply:MAKE IT YOURSELF SO YOU DON'T NEED TO SPEND ABIT MORE MONEY.

FOR MY WEDDING MY AUNTY BROUGHT FLOWERS FROM A DAIRY WHERE THE FLOWERS WERE CHEAP AND JUST MIXED ROSES AROUND AND ADDED A BEAUTIFUL COLOURED RIBBON AND THEN SHE USED A KNIFE TO CURL IT. IT'S UP TO YOU HOW YOU WANT YOUR BOQUET TO LOOK LIKE.

GOOD LUCK ON THE WEDDING.
Reply:Have to admit that i made my bridesmaids ones myself and they looked hot but mine i didnt coz the brides bouqets has goto to be special so id say go florist with urs
Reply:Do it yourself! If you can find the flowers and are happy with it save the money for you honeymoon!
