Reply:i am nto using a florist i am buying wholesale on the internet is the cheapest for me about $100 for all my bouqets and corgases and make your our
Reply:What's your budget? Inexpensive is a relative term. Are you looking to spend just a few hundred dollars at most or at least $1,000? Also, what kind of flowers do you want to use and how many bouquets/arrangements do you need?

If you want a lot of flowers, I don't recommend doing them yourself. You won't have time, and you'll stress yourself out unnecessarily. However, if you have a friend or relative, who's not involved in your wedding, that has a talent for floral design, it might be a good way to save some money.
Reply:Check out http://www.avanityfairflorist.com. The florist is very easy to deal with, sells flowers by the bunch if you are a do-it-yourself, and it offers a very inexpensive wedding package.

Any recommendations for a wedding florist in San Antonio?

I'm getting married in July 2007 and need to find a (reasonably priced) florist for my wedding. Any recommendations?

Me I can send them to you. They will be silk flowers and then you can have a few Real ones there too. Just let us know what you want and how much you want to spend and then we can get prices together and let you know. We have gold plated roses also. check out our website below.
Reply:There are several around town. I have used some of the basics as well. Pretty much ANY florist will do a wedding set up for you. If you want go to my site and you can see some of the setups that I have taken photos of. Then if you like you can email me and I can get you in touch with some of the better ones in town.

How do you find your wedding florist?

I'm doing a research on Marketing for a flowershop

I need your idea about how to attract more customer to a flowershop ? weddings? cultural weddings?

How do you find your wedding florist?
Networking. I asked people, I checked the knot, I asked my other vendors like the photographer and the caterer if they worked with anybody great.

I also checked for any floral schools and if someone who usually works at the pro shop would be willing to do a little moonlighting if I supplied the flowers.

Offer to do one or two large events at a discount to get the name out there. Ask the brides for letters of reccomendation on how happy they were. Word of mouth is going to be your best advertisement.
Reply:comes with the chapel (Vegas)
Reply:I went with a tried-and-true florist in our city which our family had always used. We knew we would get experience and good value, with really good personal care!
Reply:The flowershop should network with popular reception sites. Often the sites have a list of recommended vendors, it is good to be on that list. Also having a professional website where people can see lots of examples of your work.
Reply:recommendation from a friend
Reply:There are always two occasions where flowers will be needed and those are weddings and funerals.
Reply:I went to a bridal show, and found my florist there.....it was great...my aunt did some of the flowers and the florist did the reception.
Reply:the venues i visited had florists they recommended. also, bridal shows had plenty. theknot.com has many as well.
Reply:Alot of people these are going thru a wedding planner or consultant that does this for them. Have a business card put up on church reader boards, and at funeral homes, nursing homes and hospitals.

Be fair in price , do quality work with a quality product and locate your shop on a busy road or street so you are your own advertisement. I have bought flowers from a shop and paid more than I normally would because I had received flowers from someone who used this shop, and the flowers sent were incredible!!!! It left a lasting impression, so I, also, ordered from them.Word of mouth is also a BIG reason .Tell a friend!!!
Reply:Is this a shop already in business?

If so, participate in Bridal shows with some arrangements.

Ask past, current and future customers to fill out survey cards.

Advertise in newspapers with floral arrangements, maybe offer a discount in the ad.

What are some good names for a home based wedding florist business?

Thanks in advance!

What are some good names for a home based wedding florist business?
When starting a new business always begin the name with an "A". When people are looking through the yellow pages to order flowers, your business will be one of the first ones they see. Always Blooming, for example.
Reply:A lot of couples (mostly the women) want a fairy-tale wedding ... so why not something like Fairy Tale Florals ... that way you can put your own modern spin on a fairy tale theme. Good luck!!
Reply:Forever Your Scentiments

You want the marriage to last forever and wish them your best sentiments...only flowers have scents to them.

Catchy!
Reply:Usually you choose a name that reflects your business, personality, %26amp; what you do. Are you doing all floral arrangements, just weddings, silk only?

Try a floral school, they are usually quite reasonable and are eager for the experience.
