Clear plastic plate for wedding centerpieces?

I've scoured the dollar stores and the party supply stores and can't seem to find a clear plastic plate that is heavy enough to support the centerpieces for my wedding reception. I'm using a glass cylindrical vase 10" high and 3" in diameter. Inside the vase are curly willow branches and hanging votives. I need the clear plastic plate, so the florist can put flowers around the base of the vase. He suggested I look for Lomey bowls/dishes. Is there any other plate that might work? Thanks in advance.

I would use mirrors. If you don't want the reflection, turn them over-(but the reflection can be very pretty, particularly if you're using candles.) Alternatively, use a glass plate made for candles, which you can usually find at Wal-Mart, Target, Pier 1, or where ever candles are sold. You can also rent or buy light boxes, which are a pedestal that are a couple inches high, and illuminate the centerpiece. Good luck!

Reply:Why don't you purchase round mirrors?

OR....if you don't want to ship anything...why not have the florist simply make a round "floral ring" and it can be placed right on the table with the glass vase in the middle. I really don't think it needs to be on a plate.
