R.i wedding?

looking for less expensive(cheap lol) photographer,dj,florist any ideas greatly apriciated

R.i wedding?
I suggest visiting online website such as

http://www.weddinglenox.com ,weddingvendors.com ,onewed.com

Unlike most yellow pages, they have detailed comparison for vendors (DJ,videographer, florist, and photographer) you can choose.

One problem I had with my wedding is that it is hard to locate vendors in most website as most likely they group by states and there are too many of them that are too far from me and I have to look at each site to figure out.

I like weddinglenox as they have an easy to use layout to show you pictures, pricing and location in one page, plus you can send out your inquiry for matching vendor to contact you. That saves me lots of time to locate the best vendors with the right price.
Reply:Where will the wedding take place?.....that could help us in answering this question.
Reply:You can just have a family friend take photos, just get a digital camera and have at it. For a DJ, we just had some teenager kids that were comming to the wedding run the dj equipment and speakers we borrored from another friend. They had a blast, and it kepted them out of trouble! For flowers, i just got some pretty flowers you can find at any grocery store, or like costco the day before the wedding for $10 and got some pretty ribbon ($2) from a craft store and wrapped the ribbons around the stems. (accutally one of my new realitives did it for me cause i was too busy to spend time doing the ribbon, it was so pretty) You could split the boquest to make smaller ones for the bridesmaid(s) They have a lot of varity, and they were so pretty!
Reply:If someone in your family is into photography, have them do your pictures, my sister did mine. You can also do your own flower arrangements, just buy the flowers and put them together yourself. It costs a whole lot less. You can always have music, without a DJ, most reception halls have technology equipment there, just burn your own music and let it play! Congrats on your engagement!
Reply:look for a fashion photographer who is looking to expand their portfolio and will do a tread- free pics for you and he gets to use the shots in his portfolio. if that doesnt work, ask a local college to reccomend one of their photography students.

the dj doesnt have to be paid, just ask a close family member or friend to do it- just make sure they know their music!

as for a florist, all you really need is a gorgeous bouquet for you and a boutineer for him... those are not much, and you should be able to have them put together pretty inexpensively at any florist.

congratulations

Reply:Do you have any friends that are amateur photographers? Any friends or relatives that are good with crafty stuff like floral arrangements? You can ask them for help.

When I got married I had my friend that is an amateur photographer take pictures as a wedding gift, my mom is great at floral arrangement so she did my bouquet and I just got some cute little clay pots and used colorful potted plants as center pieces and decor... as for music, I just burned a bunch of Cd's and put my stereo on continuous random play.

Be creative... weddings don't have to be expensive!
Reply:do it yourself thats what I did at my wedding I made my own arrangements and had disposably cameras and took all my own photos. I even put together a great party mix for the reception. Do you like Tupac? I can send you the list.
Reply:As for the photographer you could have a friend or family member that can take good pictures with a digital camera do it. It would save a lot of money and you could have them sized as big as you want them at Walmart. The DJ, know anyone who is capable of operating a stereo system? This would be much less expensive and you could chose the songs you want played. For flowers.. do simple potted house plants with blooms or just greenery such as a fern or lilies. This way the flowers arent wasted and family and friends could have a little piece of the wedding to take home afterwards if you don't want them for your house,
Reply:google it, you can also google up a financial chart to print and record on as well.
