Wedding Bouquet?

I am getting married in September, but I don't know what kind of flowers will look good with a white cascading calla lily bouquet. My florist says anything I add will take away from the flowers but I want the top of my bouquet to be fuller.

I have calla lillies in mine as well, I am getting married in june and we are doing roses, gerber daisies, dahlias and the calla lillies. And also little hints of freesia. My stuff is all orange and yellow but you can get all the stuff in any color.





Maybe your florist is just snooty? lol I dont think adding a another flower would take away from anything.

Reply:Tulips are a good filler and don't really distract. I love daisies, so naturally I think they look great with just about everything.


I suggest going to a craft store with a fake flower section and play around with the fake ones to see what looks good.
Reply:I am getting married 4/18 and my bouquet has callalillies and as a filler she added more different types of lillies because my dress has beading on it and if its too full it'll take away from my dress. this way the lillies create a hole like effect and you can see the dress through them. my advice - if you go for callalillies - stick with lillies throughout - keep it uniform...i mean you dont have to but i think it will look nice. =) goodluck and congrads!
Reply:it depends on what you like. its your wedding if you want more flowers go ahead. dont let someone tell you what to do.
Reply:just tell her exactly what you said on here. Either she can add more flowers or greenery to "re-shape" it.
Reply:my sister did my boquet for me. we bought the flowers from costco. and added in some ivy to make it more cascading... here is what it looked like (so you can maybe get ideas from it!)

Reply:hydrangas are nice i think that is not the correct spelling. but daisys or a big open roses like a confederate rose type thing would look awsome and add fullness to the top also look into some diffrent types of green leaves rolled to add puff effect
