Im getting married in Feb and would like the pastor to include a a few statements about loved ones who have passed away (My mother died 5 years ago) but im not sure how he would word it. The florist is putting together a bouquet of red carnations which were her fav and Ill be placing them on the first row seat and I would like him to reference the flowers too.I found something online a couple months ago but cant seem to find it now. Does anyone have any sites that might help me or any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Wedding Vows Help?
Try this;

The bride has expressed how much that her beautiful mother had lived to share this day of joy and happiness. We know that she is with us in spirit today. In honor of that spirit and in her memory we present this this lovely bouquet of red carnations; her favorite flower.
Reply:We had only 2 candles that we lit during our ceremony...they were to represent our loved ones that couldn't be with us on our wedding day! One for his family and one for mine...we had the minister annouce the significance of those candles.

Congrats
Reply:I, (name),will love and cherish (his name) 4 life until death.And if any one should interfear with us it should not interfear our love for each other.I love u and we shall be together through richer to poor, better to worst,happy to sad, and love and through hate. I love you(his name)and thats all that matters!!!!!!!!!
Reply:We put our memorials in our bulletin/program.

It said:

And those who bless us today from above we hold dearly in our hearts and in loving memory

Then it listed all the names of our loved ones underneath

But I like the idea of making special mention of your mother during the service, I think thats a wonderful idea. I hope you will be able to work it out, be sure to talk to your minister, he might have some ideas too.
