Wedding color help-?

The bridesmaid dresses are in this Saphire Blue color- the blue is similar to the blue that is on the yahoo screen - where you sign out. What color would compliment that? Do we need a second color or can we just do blue and see what the florist comes up with?

Peach
Reply:maybe a white color and silver they each compliment each other
Reply:You can ask your florist for suggestions. Different shade of blue look amazing, and also white/ivory, would make the flowers pop. You can go onto theKnot.com and under the photos section you can search for blue centerpieces. They have tons of pictures of a flowers surrounding blue as your main color.
Reply:mayb silver or yellow or maybe even a green
Reply:Siver or white
Reply:I would say white. Really would go much better! But, if you still want color go with soft pink roses. Also go to www.theknot.com
Reply:Being such a dramatic blue, I would keep it simple. A white secondary flower and then some very small deep purple flowers or accents. I'd do silver for ribbon and things like jewelry and the guys vests and ties.
Reply:Ivory is a good complementary colour--our bridesmaids had calla lily's (white, though they're really ivory). Red (brick red, the colour of natural red roses) also works well, and is the colour of love! Remember that all flowers also are attached to a natural green stem--a colour which works well with everything. The bold red would complement both the ivory and the blue!
Reply:how about a light gray to go with the blue
Reply:white,peach,silver,maybe tan
Reply:Hmmmmm..... I think that white would look sooooooooooo beautiful with sapphire; but if the wedding gown is white, then we certainly don't want the bride to blend in with the decorations!

Maybe silver...? That always looks so pretty with sapphire!
Reply:I like strong gold!! My husband likes black (but he doesn't know ANYTHING!!)
Reply:OOOH, Ivory. Or brown.
Reply:do you mean for the flowers??

if so, i would use some creams, yellows, or whites....

really you can do whatever you want, all flowers are pretty and will look nice with the blue....

if its not for the flowers, just as an accent color, I would stick in the blue family...maybe a blue/green color.....
Reply:Saphire and silver or a deep dark emerald green....white roses would be very pretty or even lillies...whatever you choose don't let the florist decide it is your day not theirs I'd get their opinion first and see if you like it
Reply:A very soft, pale ,warm yellow....as in cream. or a blue two shades lighter or darker......
Reply:red roses or peach
