My florist said that the cost of calla lilies went up last year because hurricanes wiped out most of the crop. She said that by my wedding in June, the cost should go back down to normal, but she won't know for a month or so. Does anyone know anything about this? This is the difference between an $800 wedding florist bill and a $1600 wedding florist bill.

If the money is an issue, and a deal-breaker, can you see if your florist would consider a "plan B" if the cost is still astronomical? Pick out a second choice with her, just in case.
If the money isn't an issue, then just hope for the best, but don't worry about it. Why add extra stress during a time of plenty of stress?
