I need a cheap florist in Bend Oregon, any help?

I have researched every florist I can find for my wedding, and still no luck. I WILL not pay 5$ a rose. Thank you for all of your help.

I need a cheap florist in Bend Oregon, any help?
Have you tried going to Redmond or Madras-Prineville or even La Pine

How about some other kind of flower? Gardenia's?
Reply:Instead of looking for the "cheapest" florist, you might want to look for a florist who understands your budget and tries to provide the best value for your money. "Cheapest" florists do not necessarily give you the best values.

Rose prices, for example, vary dramatically, depending on the varieties and qualities. Cheapest roses cost around 30 cents a stem at wholesale level (i.e., the price we florists pay), while the best-quality roses from Holland could cost as much as $4 a stem (!) at wholesale. High-end florists don't stock those cheap roses, because cheap roses do look cheap, you know? :)

If you or your friend know how to do flower arrangements, that's one way to save a lot of money, because the labor is the largest part of flower prices.

In practice, DIY is not an option for most brides. In that case, you might want to be a little more flexible. For example, among mini-Calla lilies, do you know that certain colors (such as mango) are much more expensive than other colors, just because they are popular in bridal magazines? If you are willing to settle on less popular colors, you can save significant amount of money.

To save even more, ask your florist what flowers are most affordable at the time of your wedding. Any pro should know about this. Flower prices go up and down during seasons. I understand your wedding is August. That's actually good, because during summer, there are many, many seasonal flowers that are quite cheap.

In summary, two things are imortant to save money in wedding flowers. One, find a florist who takes you seriously, even if you don't have a whole lot of money. Two, remeber this: the more specific your requests are, you end up paying more. Be a bit more flexible and you can save money.
