I'm after twisted willow branches for some wedding centrepieces.?

I've tried the florists but they're really expensive. No one in australia really seems to do the naturla look willow. I've found American sites but they don't ship overseas!

Anyone know a site or have any ideas?

Hi, I am in Australia too. You should be able to hire them from a wedding decorator.

Try these sites:

http://sparklebrite.com.au/cms/component...

http://www.weddingdecorators.net/

http://theweddingdecorator.com/

http://www.weddingdecorator.com.au/

http://theweddingdecorator.com.au/

If you can't hire them anywhere, I suggest going to places like Hot Dollar, the Reject Shop, Spotlight, Lincraft and Go Lo and Dusk as they usually have these sort of things.

Hope this helps!
Reply:I'm not from Austraila, I'm in the states - but if you have craft stores there you might want to check there for artificial willow branches. If you want real ones, check with nurseries that sell trees %26amp; plants for gardens %26amp; landscaping.
Reply:Hey, I am in the same situation as you but with manzanita branches which I can;t find anywhere.

However I have found twisted willow in my seaches.

If you are in WA they sell them at markets, specifically Wanneroo and Malaga markets. And they are cheap too. Something like $5 for a handfull sized bunch!

Alternatively go find a willow tree and get them free!

There is also this site: http://www.potsrus.net.au/Content/7331 which you might like to call up and see what their prices are. If you arn;t in WA maybe they will post to you.
Reply:i have used twisted accents during my wedding also and it really gives the arrangement a twist i dont know if you have bamboos there but bamboos also are great accents try to look for a bamboo plant and look at their bases. you will find some twisted bamboos present thier.
